1964 Cecilia Faciolince de Abad began managing the La Ceiba building, the first horizontal property in the center of Medellín. Abad Faciolince was born there.

1995 We began to successfully offer real estate sales, leasing, and appraisal services.

2006 At the end of the year, she pointed to the development of Oriente Antioqueño and opened her first office in this sector.

2007 Due to personal and family circumstances, the company decides to stop offering the joint property management service and focus on the real estate business. To achieve this in the best way corresponding to our clients, employees and suppliers, the restructuring project is created, in which our employees, professionals with greater experience and seniority, are proposed to form different companies that offer the administration service with the same resources and in the same way that we had done for so many years. The project concluded with great success, from which 8 new companies that today provide this service were born from our hand.

2014 Abad Faciolince celebra sus 50 años de creación, recibiendo un distinguido reconocimiento de la Cámara de Comercio de Antioquia, Fenalco y de La Lonja de Propiedad Raíz de Medellín, por su labor, tenacidad, esfuerzo y dedicación durante estos años en el sector.

The Corporation for Education and Public Health Héctor Abad Gómez is a social, non-profit and private organization that designs and carries out Education, Public Health and Human Rights projects for children, youth and low-income citizens who live In the city of Medellín.

It was born in 2002, when the Héctor Abad Gómez Educational Institution was established and the Abad Faciolince family was invited to the inauguration of the new educational establishment -which is the product of the merging of the Simón Bolívar schools, República del Brasil, República de Argentina and Estanislao Gómez Barrientos- In that space, those close to Dr. Abad demonstrated the needs of the people that attends the Educational Institution and the desire arose in them to form an organization to support the development of the new school and help those who are a part of it.

It is in this way that, to consolidate this desire, a voluntary agreement was made in August 2002 between 37 people; who, united by the thought of Héctor Abad Gómez, constituted the Héctor Abad Gómez Corporation for Education and Public Health before the Chamber of Commerce, whose main objectives are to disseminate the thought of Dr. Abad and give shape to his ideas with coherent proposals of Public Health, Education and Human Rights.
