History

• 1964: Cecilia Faciolince de Abad began managing La Ceiba building, the first horizontal property in downtown Medellín. Abad Faciolince was born there.
• 1995: We successfully began offering real estate sales, rentals, and appraisals services.
• 2006: Towards the end of the year, we focused on developing the Oriente Antioqueño and opened our first office in this area.
• 2007: Due to personal and family circumstances, the company decided to cease offering property management services and concentrate solely on real estate. In order to support our clients, employees, and suppliers, a restructuring project was initiated. This involved proposing to our experienced and long-standing employees the formation of different companies offering the same management services with the same resources and dedication. The project concluded successfully, leading to the birth of 8 new companies offering these services today, in conjunction with us.
• 2014: Abad Faciolince celebrates its 50th anniversary, receiving distinguished recognition from the Chamber of Commerce of Antioquia, Fenalco, and the Real Estate Exchange of Medellín, for its work, tenacity, effort, and dedication over the years in the sector.
• 2015: Diversification of the company, exploring a new business line by venturing into the commercialization of real estate projects.
• 2018: Introduction of a mobile app and a revamp of our web platform.
• 2019: Marking 55 years in the market, making our clients' dreams a reality. Opening a branch in the West of Medellín to cater to our clients in Laureles, Belén, and surrounding areas.
• 2024: Website renewal.

Social Responsibility

The Hector Abad Gómez Corporation for Education and Public Health is a nonprofit, private social organization designing and implementing Education, Public Health, and Human Rights projects for children, youth, and citizens from low-income backgrounds in the city of Medellín.

It originated in 2002 when the Héctor Abad Gómez Educational Institution was established, and the Abad Faciolince family was invited to its inauguration. The institution emerged from the fusion of several schools. Observing the needs of the attending population, associates of Dr. Abad recognized the urge to support the development of the new school and those within it.

To fulfill this ambition, in August 2002, a voluntary agreement was formed by 37 individuals. United by the ideals of Héctor Abad Gómez, they established the Corporation for Education and Public Health Héctor Abad Gómez at the Chamber of Commerce. The main objectives are to disseminate Dr. Abad's philosophy and actualize his ideas with coherent proposals in Public Health, Education, and Human Rights.
